Stamp - Tracing Is THEFT.

I mean, if 'tracing' by itself is theft despite crediting, then fan art without permission is theft without permission despite crediting. I feel like to be against tracing by itself (when it can be a useful tool for creating something new sometimes, just like using an existing texture asset for typical game mods) but then turn around and be like "Well fan art is fine because it's drawn with skill" is really hypocritical.

Note that I was mainly focused on "tracing" lawful corporate character pictures or detail, and being used as an asset for good reason. I for example don't encourage people to trace other DeviantArt member's art works without permission.
