I want to make another version of this at some point. I think maybe the text is too hard to read. I can't tell because I already know what it says... XD feedback, people, feedback!

Losing someone is not a crime.
Forgetting they existed is a crime...
XD I'm belting these out basically as often as I can, but I hope I'm maintaining good quality here

Basically, you can't get traces removed anymore unless:
1. They contain parts of the original or
2. They are of another deviant's work.
And I even know of a deviantART member- a subscriber, no less- whose work was traced back in like, June or July. It's been five weeks since she reported it and the admins have sent her reports back as "invalid," even though she gave proof and stuff. It's really sick.

Well, in that case, I guess it's just harder to prove. But, really, how can it not contain parts of the original if it was traced? I mean, even if you're just tracing a body/pose, it still contains parts of the original! Unless you mean that there is actually a part that wasn't traced and it was incorporated in with the rest that was traced?
Not sure how happy I am with this, but it sort of seemed this way from the beginning. And they make it sound like tracing is okay, you know, if it's practice.

You are completely right.
And tracing is very much not a good way to practice- they just want an excuse to not have to deal with traces. x__x I'm currently in the process of writing another news article that includes a bunch of stuff about why tracing is a really inferior "learning method."
