For all of you who are under the mistaken impression that tracing is a good "learning method."
If you think you learned by tracing, it may be time to go back and re-examine what actually happened. Chances are, if you're any good now, you probably stopped tracing at some point and started drawing from life or something.

tracing is actually a good practice method; it helps you learn how to draw something (say, a hand or a leg), so when you do it on your own, you'll be able to do it.
i used to trace when i was a kid, mainly to get better at drawing, and now look at me; i'm an adult and i'm doing all my art with zero tracing
though you should NEVER post traced work or claim it as your own.
