This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Tracing is like piggy-back-riding a marathon. It may take some effort to hang on for the duration of the run, but you're ultimately riding on the hard work of the person carrying you across the finish line.

Well, I like this group. Tracing may be okay if you have the original artists permission and all, but there's a loooot of people who don't ask permission, don't give credit for where images and ideas came from and assume complete ownership. And that really ticks me off. It may be allowed by Deviantart's rules, but I don't think that makes it right.

REMOVE ALL ANIME EXCEPT FOR 100% ORIGINAL CHARACTERS!!!
BAN ANYONE WHO POSTS "FAN ART"
FAN ART? MORE LIKE FAN THEFT. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH WORK YOU PUT IN, IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH OF YOUR OWN STYLE YOU PUT INTO IT, IT DOESNT MATTER IF YOU ADMIT THAT YOU DIDN'T CREATE THE CHARACTER, STEALING ANOTHER ARTIST'S CHARACTER IS ART THEFT!!!!!
Hi, I just came across this page and I'm not here to start an argument. Yes, it's completely fine to trace but posting it on deviantart is just as good as claiming that art as your own (even though, sorry to say, it may be another person's art). I am taking no sides and I repeat, am not here to start an argument, but just to kindly offer a suggestion. *Just to get this into people's head, it is good to trace, but it isn't wise to post the traced art for your account because it is as though you are claiming it as your own.* I am a fairly easygoing person so I think it would be fine to trace whatever you like, so long as it isn't tainting the Copyright Law. Peace.
